Sweden contributes to improved municipal services through new Property Tax Administration

On October 1, 2008 the Swedish government signed an agreement with the Kosovo Government worth 2.3 million Euro in support of a new and effective Property Tax Administration in Kosovo municipalities.

The first version of the new property tax IT system will be deployed well in time before the taxbills will be distributed in the spring of 2009. Before that, all tax payers shall receive a brochure explaining the news. Staff at some 30 municipalities will be trained in the new IT-system.
