Information for citizens from the former republics of the USSR

Citizens of the former Soviet republics should apply for a visa at the Embassy of Sweden in their countries or at the Swedish representation in their countries.

Visa applications from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Georgia and Armenia where Sweden has a representation should be submitted at these representations. If the applicant chooses to submit his application at the Migration office of the Swedish Embassy in Moscow, it should be done in person.

Visa applications from Turkmenistan should be submitted in person at the Migration Office of the Swedish Embassy in Moscow.

Attention!
Passports received by mail will not be sent back by post or by a devilery company due to the Russian law. The Embassy of Sweden in Moscow hands out passports only to applicants or their authorized representatives.
