1. What did you study? Law and Social Welfare.2. Why did you choose to study in Sweden? I've never been in Sweden before, studies in English, it was quite close to my home country and it was a new contract between the universities.
3. What are your main impressions about university studies in Sweden?It was different, but I really enjoyed it.
4. What's your opinion about the educational quality at Swedish universities?In general, it seemed to be easier studying in Swedish university, what may sound like negative - but it is not so far. Lessons were very interesting and useful, not exhausting, lots of materials provided by the university.
5. Was it easy to adjust to the Swedish educational system? Takes time, but it's ok.6. According to you, what is the major difference between being a student in Lithuania compared to Sweden?The main difference which I felt - was a culture ( so to say relationship between people and the treatment of their self and to others) differences. It is enough to compare how Lithuanian and Sweden students treat their student homes - Swedish are so intelligent and have such a nice places to live! Other difference - though the atmosphere in Swedish exam is not so stressing, but student are very strict to each other in the point of plagiarizing - that's good though. Lots of facilities and activities for students in Umea!!! Which is awesome!!! ;)7. What are the main benefits of studying in Sweden?Very nice relationship between the university personnel and students, innovative and interesting method of teaching, providing lots of interesting and useful materials.8. Did you experience any problems because of cultural differences? Yes, but not in Sweden - after coming back to Lithuania after it :))))9. Did you find your financial situation difficult while studying in Sweden? No, mine situation was not difficult, but Sweden seems a little expensive though.10. What is your experience in dealing with Swedish authorities?Haven't had anything.11. How did you arrange your housing? With the help of home and Umea Universities.12. Did you stay in a student hall or in an apartment? Student hall.13. How was your contact with other Swedish and other international students? Lot's of nice people! Everything worked perfect out.14. Did you find it straightforward to use the English language in Sweden? No, I enjoyed improving it by using everyday.15. What was your experience of Swedish culture during your stay? No special or extreme situations. Mostly good experience.16. Would you recommend other Lithuanians to study in Sweden?Definitely YES. And I would like to come back myself!17. How would you like to stay in touch with Sweden in the future? YES.
