Swedish Development Cooperation in China

Since 1979 Sweden has had development co-operation with China and in 2001 the Swedish government apporoved a new strategy for the period 2001-2005. It aims to promote the inflow of new ideas to China that can accelerate the reform process. The Embassy of Sweden in Beijing is administrating the co-operation.
