Visa for Business or Conference

The following documentation is required to be submitted to the Embassy in English or Swedish on the day of application. An authorised translation must be attached to any documents in Thai. Please note that the Embassy staff can not assist with translation or filling out the forms.

• Passport or other valid travel document with a validity of at least three months beyond the planned departure from Sweden. Photocopy of the first page of the passport as well as extensions and/or name changes
  
  
• Previous passport if a new passport has been issued within the last year
  
  
• Copy of identification card (no translation needed)
  
  
• Two colour photos not more than six months old, passport-seized (45 mm x 35 mm), full face and taken against a light background
  
  
• Invitation letter with original letter head from the company or organization in Sweden stating the purpose and the length of the visit as well as who will absorb the expenses for the visit
  
  
• A confirmation of the invitation by the applicant’s employer with length of stay and who will absorb the expenses for the visit
  
  
• Letter of employment or equivalent from the company or organization in Thailand written on original letterhead stating the profession and length of the employment
  
  
• Copy of paid medical travel insurance 
  
  
• Documents proving sufficient means for the entire visit such as bank statement or copy of bank book
  
  
• Copy of hotel and flight booking for the entire trip (The Embassy advises you not to pay hotel accommodation or flight tickets before you are granted a visa)
