The American-Scandinavian Foundation and The New Press present Swedish author Henning Mankell in conversation with Jeffrey Frank, author and senior editor at The New Yorker. The discussion will center around the popular explosion in Scandinavian mysteries, a genre with a long tradition of social critique and stylistic economy. Henning Mankell is internationally Sweden’s most read author and world-famous as the creator of the Kurt Wallander mystery series.
