The LK is an experimental pop outfit from Malmö that puts out crisp, stylish noise-pop with human warmth, frailty, sadness and wry sense of humor.Lo-Fi-Fnk is a fresh young duo from Stockholm whose soulful and lush electronic pop has been firing up dance floors around the world.Lykke Li is a free-spirited and multi-talented indie singer from Stockholm who mixes electro-pop and acoustic soul and who just released her first LP in January 2008.Peter Morén is the guitarist and vocalist of Peter Björn and John, who has recently launched a successful solo side project.Robyn is the pop star who bucked a major record deal and started an independent label to make music on her own terms, recently collaborating with The Knife, Teddybears and Kleerup.Sabaton and Avatar are two top-notch Swedish metal bands who will perform at a Scandinavian showcase headlined by Norwegian veterans Enslaved at South by Southwest in Austin on March 15.Sahara Hotnights is one of Sweden's most acclaimed rock bands, a female quartet from Umeå in northern Sweden whose propulsive and tight sound ranges from garage to power pop.Sally Shapiro is a publicity-shy indie pop singer who, along with producer Johan Agebjörn, has perfected a fresh take on the shimmering soundscapes and melodies of Italo disco and 80s synth-pop. Shout Out Louds play smart, up-beat, synth-infused indie pop and share a passion for lo-fi rock'n'roll and an obsession with various states of love-enduced anxiety. The Soundtrack of Our Lives is a band from Göteborg fronted by charismatic singer Ebbot Lundberg and known for an energized mix of 60s-influenced rock'n'roll and psychedelia.Tiger Lou is the musical project of Rasmus Kellerman, whose solo recordings of pulsing, acoustic pop gems come to life on stage with a full backing band.The Tough Alliance is an electronic duo known for wild live shows and a supercatchy hybrid pop that absorbs and reinterprets various dance-oriented sounds from the past few decades.
