The Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK – Dedicated to its Members since 1906

The Swedish Chamber of Commerce for the UK was founded in 1906 and is an independent, non profit making networking organisation. It provides a forum for Members to exchange business ideas, experiences and, ultimately, products and services. The Chamber is funded entirely by its Members and the revenue generated by activities arranged by the Chamber

Today the Chamber has about 400 Member companies, representing, not only Swedish companies but also British and European companies interested in strengthening their existing ties with Sweden/UK or expanding to a new market. The Swedish Chamber of Commerce is one of the largest and most active foreign Chambers in the UK.

To further facilitate networking and matchmaking, the Chamber hosts over seventy events annually, ranging from social events (such as the Christmas Luncheon and the Crayfish Party), networking and drinks receptions, seminars and briefings and company visits.

Being a Member of the Chamber is an effective way of creating new business contacts, building networks, marketing your products and services and staying informed on Anglo-Swedish business.

In addition the Junior Chamber Club for Young Professionals (JCC) has approximately 350 Members (usually between the ages of 25 and 35) who are either studying or working in the UK. The JCC offers a possibility to exchange knowledge about business in the UK and an opportunity to extend ones social network.

On the Chamber’s website you can find further information about the organisation, its business services, a calendar of events and information on various marketing opportunities aimed at the Anglo-Swedish network.
