Airport Transit Visa (ATV)

This visa entitles aliens who are required to have such a visa to pass through the international transit area of airports without actually entering the national territory of the country concerned, during a stop- over or transfer between stages of an international flight. Nationals from the countries listed here below and persons who are not necessarily nationals of those countries but who posses travel documents issued by their authorities are required to possess this type of visa.

Citizens from the following countries are required to have an Airport Transit Visa:

Bangladesh
Congo, Democratic Republic (formerly Zaire)
Eritrea
Ethiopia
Ghana
Iran
Iraq
Nigeria
Pakistan
Somalia
