Filing applications with TLS requires an appointment. To get an appointment, please call +20 (0) 2 33 36 80 88 between 08h30 to 16h30 from Sunday to Thursday
Information about the application process, the services offered by TLScontact and the documentation needed for the applications is found on:> The TLScontact web site
Processing time will be approximately 14 days for applications submitted by holders of Egyptian National passports.
Diplomatic and Service passports
Holders of Diplomatic and Service passports may submit applications directly to the Embassy without prior appointment, Sunday to Thursday between 11h00 to 12h00.
Please observe
A valid visa does not guarantee that a person can enter the Schengen area. The border control will check everyone at the point of entry. Entrance may be denied.
The original Travel Insurance Certificate must be shown to passport control when entering the Schengen area. You have to prove that you have money for your journey (Euro 40) for each day spent in Sweden. You should also carry documents showing the purpose of your visit.
Check status of applications via the web
The Migration Board in Sweden has developed an electronic service that makes it possible for applicants ( visa, students and employees) to check whether a decision has been made on their application or not.
However, the service is limited so that the search can only be done on decisions made during the past 14 days preceding the search.
