OECD/UNDP Public governance program, Governance and Investment for Development project

OECD conducts consultations with the countries in the MENA region in areas where there is a need for a regional cooperation. Sida support is directed towards government structures ie. modernizing of governance structures and policies

The OECD/UNDP Public Governance Program consists of six thematic Working Groups focusing on:

  • Civil service and integrity;
  • E-government, administrative simplification and regulatory reform;
  • Governance of public resources;
  • Public service delivery;
  • Role of the judiciary and enforcement; and
  • Civil society and media.

The OECD supports the first three Working Groups and UNDP the others.
