About the Embassy

The mission of the Embassy of Sweden in Cairo is to represent Sweden and to promote Swedish interests in Egypt.

The Embassy is charged with sustaining and developing relations between Sweden and Egypt within a wide range of political, commercial, economic and cultural matters of mutual interest. Furthermore, the Embassy is responsible for the consular protection of Swedish nationals who are residing in or visiting Egypt.

Sunday to Thursday 09.00 hrs to 12.00 hrs

Application for Swedish passports and collection of issued passports:
Sundays and Tuesdays 14.00 hrs to 16.00 hrs

Collection of foreign passports with issued visas:
Mondays and Wednesdays 13.00 hrs to 15.00 hrs
