Business Visa

When applying for a business visa for Sweden, you should submit all of the following documents:

  • Application for Schengen Visa, completed, signed and dated.

  • Appendix A – Questionnaire for applicants, completed, signed and dated.

  • Old type of passport or travel document and copies of the first 10 pages are to be submitted, all pages with stamp and the last page. New type of passport, and copies of the page with biometric data and all pages with stamps. The passport should be valid at least a further three (3) months after the date of expiry of the visa. The passport must be issued within the last 10 years and shall contain at least two blank pages.

  • Two (2) photograph 35 x 40 mm in colour, not older than 6 months.The photograph must show full face and taken against a plain, evenly lit and light background.

  • Invitation from company or organization in Sweden. The invitation must contain details as;
    - Personal particulars of the applicant
    - The purpose of the visit
    - Arrival and departure dates
    - Who will cover the travel- and hotel expenses
    - The registration number of the Swedish company
    - Request and motivation for multiple entries, if needed.

  • The original support letter in English from your employer which shall indicate; 
    - Personal particulars of the applicant
    -  The purpose of the visit
    -  Arrival and departure dates
    -  Who will pay for the travel- and hotel expenses
    - Tax document and SSK
    - The certificate of registration for the Turkish company
    - Request and motivation for multiple entries, if needed.

  • A proof of valid personal medical travel insurance, or “guarantee form” for frequent travellers.

Additional documents might be required after the examination of your application and an application can be submitted at the earliest 3 months before the planned trip.

A visa does not provide automatic permission to enter into the Schengen Area. It is up to the border control authorities to decide on the entry. It is therefore important that you, at the border, can present documents showing, for example, return ticket, insurance, means of support and invitation.
