Each year, Sida conduct some 90 training programmes financed by both global and regional allocations.

International Training Programme (ITP) are organized by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida). These programmes aim at enhancing managerial and technical skills in partner countries and cover subjects of strategic importance to economic and social development. Special emphasis is placed on areas in which Sweden has a considerable level of expertise to offer. Training will be normally organized in the form of short term training progarmme in Sweden, followed by a follow-up workshop in one of the partcipating countries.
