Parking Near House of Sweden

The Embassy of Sweden is in House of Sweden located at the intersection of Rock Creek and the Potomac River in Georgetown.

Finding parking in Georgetown can be very difficult. The Embassy does not offer public parking.

There are several parking garages within a block of the Embassy.

There is a metered parking lot behind the Thompson Boathouse at the interstection of Virginia Avenue and Rock Creek Parkway .

To encourage exercise, to help save the environment and to promote the use of public transportation, the Embassy recommends using Metro buses and the subway to reach us.

(We are also within walking distance of the Foggy Bottom metro station, and several bike paths lead to the Georgetown Harbor.)
