Brutus Östling – "Penguins"

Swedish nature photographer Brutus Östling was awarded 2006 Nature Photographer of the Year by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency jury. He has managed to capture penguins on film as these lovable creatures go about their daily activities at work and at play in their natural settings, and collected them in a book by the same name, “Penguins”. This exhibition will showcase penguins and a few other birds.

The text accompanying Brutus Östling’s photography in “Penguins”, and in the recently launched book “Between the Wingtips”, has been contributed by Susanne Åkesson, professor in zoology at Lund University, Sweden.
