Beyond Blond, now in its fourth year, is a month-long Swedish lifestyle program organized by the Consulate General of Sweden in Los Angeles to promote business opportunities for Swedish and American companies, and knowledge and interest about Sweden in the US. Sweden is a leading nation in delivering innovative design, scientific achievements, communication technologies, sustainable environmental systems and business prowess in numerous fields affecting contemporary lifestyle and quality of life. With this year’s theme, we hope to communicate the message of purpose, know-how and responsibility within a broad lifestyle framework that positively impacts future generations. We are grateful to our creative sponsors and collaborators this year: the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles,The Huntington Library, Art collections and Botanical Gardens in San Marino;both offering extraordinary venues for showcasing Swedish innovation, film, art and design; and the Swedish company Acne Creative. The annual Beyond Blond program has expanded from the greater Los Angeles area to encompass other cities in the western region of the US, including San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle. For further details and program updates, please follow the links on our website.Looking forward to seeing you at our events!Sincerely,Tomas RosanderConsul General of Sweden, Los Angeles Beyond Blond Program 2007April
