Innovation by Design at The Museum of Modern Art

Innovation by Design, an exclusive industrial design symposium at The Museum of Modern Art in New York, brings together design professionals and CEOs from the US, Finland and Sweden on February 16, 2007.
Moderated by Bruce Nussbaum of BusinessWeek and Mary McBride from the Pratt Institute, the invite-only event will feature panel discussions on cutting-edge Scandinavian industrial design and the impact of design thinking on global business.

Innovation by Design is part of the larger Building Competences project that seeks to explore and increase the understanding of the vast implications of modern industrial design.  The overarching goal of the project is to build bridges between American, Finnish and Swedish design companies and to increase the sharing of business knowledge.

The Innovation by Design symposium is presented in collaboration with the Consulate General of Finland in New York, the Consulate General of Sweden in New York and the Finnish-Swedish Industrial Design Academy. The project is realized with the support of Design Forum Finland, Swedish Industrial Design Foundation and IDSAnyc.
