The Ministers for Foreign Affairs meet once a year. During the rest of the time, the diplomatic representations conduct most of the day-to-day-business on behalf of the Ministers.
The chairmanship of the Committee is rotated on a six-month basis, changing with each session in the English alphabetical order of the member states. Sweden will assume the chairmanship between May and November 2008.
