If you have more general questions you can also contact the Swedish embassy in Prague. The Embassy and the Swedish Trade Council works together on various promotional activities. The Nordic Chamber of Commerce gathers Swedish and Nordic companies present in the Czech Republic.

The Embassy  of Sweden

A key task of the embassy is to follow the general economic and political development in the Czech Republic. In order to identify interesting business opportunities the embassy also collects information about the development within Swedish priority branches and sectors of the Czech economy. Promotional activities (workshops, etc.) are carried out in co-operation with the Swedish Trade Council and with the participation by Swedish companies. The embassy also maintains a network within the Czech ministries and public authorities.

The Swedish Trade Council

The Swedish Trade Council in Prague is mainly working with Swedish companies that want to establish or develop their business in the Czech Republic. The Council also works with Czech clients that are interested in Swedish products. The Swedish Trade Council has an extensive network and experience of Swedish industry and commerce and can help you to quickly identify the right suppliers. In addition free answers to any question you may have about Swedish exports can be provided. As a consultant the Swedish Trade Council covers all phases of a company's process to go abroad. The projects can include anything from an initial market analysis, a recommendation of a market strategy to recruitment, partner/ customer search and business development. The Trade Council also works with the Swedish Embassy regarding Sweden Promotion Activities. 

The Nordic Chamber of Commerce

The Nordic Chamber of Commerce (until 2005 the Swedish Chamber of Commerce) is present in the Czech Republic since 1995. Today the Chamber has about 130 member companies of which the main part are Swedish. The Chamber is a non-profit organization and has not political aims. It's mission is to to promote and serve the present Nordic business community, to help improve the business and ethical environment and to provide a platform for creating and safeguarding new business opportunities.
