How to apply for a visa

In order to apply for a visa or residence/work permit for Sweden, the applicants first need to schedule an appointment through the call centers of "Telekom Srbija" in Serbia and "Telekom Crne Gore" in Montenegro.

It is not possible to apply without an appointment scheduled in advance. 

Applicants from Serbia should dial the following number in order to make an appointment: 0800/ 124-124
(working days, from 07.00 to 15.00; except public holidays).

This phone number can only be called from the territory of the Republic of Serbia, from a fixed land line and/or from the mobile network 064/065 postpaid. The phone conversation itself is free of charge, but when you officially make an appointment you will be charged 250 RSD plus taxes through your phone bill.

The telephone number for applicants from Montenegro is: 044/891-891 (working days from 07.00 to 21.00, weekends from 08.00 to 14.00).

This phone number can only be called from the Republic of Montenegro from a land line. The phone call is charged with 1,104 EUR/minute.

"Telekom Srbija" and "Telekom Crne Gore" will send all application forms and necessary information to the applicants' home address.

The waiting time for the appointment at the Embassy  usually  is approximately one week, but may vary depending on the season.

The time for decision making usually is approximately five working days from the application date, but may be longer during season times.

These new routines will not be applied to either citizens of Macedonia, with place of residence in Macedonia or persons who live in Kosovo.
