Swedish Art Galleries at The Armory Show

The Armory Show is the world's leading art fair devoted exclusively to contemporary art.  In its eighth annual exhibition, The Armory Show 2006 will present 148 international galleries, including many of the most important contemporary dealers showcasing new art from around the world.

Andréhn-Schiptjenko, Galleri Charlotte Lund and Galleri Magnus Karlsson are three of Stockholm's leading art galleries.  Each will present more than a dozen Swedish and international artists during The Armory Show 2006, including Meta Isaeus-Berlin, Leif Palmqvist, Annika Larsson, Jonas Nobel, Maria Friberg, Petra Lindholm, Jockum Nordström and Ulrika Minami Wärmling.

In addition, the New York gallery Rivington Arms presents Swedish artist Hanna Liden, whose pagan-influenced photography has received major critical praise and is featured at the Whitney Biennial 2006.

The Armory Show is open to the public on Friday, March 10, noon to 8 pm, and Monday, March 13, noon to 5 pm.
