Swedish Home organization

The Science and Technology Office in Tokyo, which was established already in 1966, is one of presently five foreign offices belonging to the Swedish Agency for Growth Policy Analysis - Growth Analysis. The four other foreign offices are located in Washington D.C., Los Angeles, Brussels and Beijing.

The Growth Analysis, which in Sweden has offices in Östersund and Stockholm, is a government agency under the Ministry of Industry, Employment and Communications. One of its areas of responsibility is to analyze international trends of relevance to Swedish growth policy. The Growth Analysis operates its foreign offices in close collaboration with a number of other Swedish government agencies and organizations, including VINNOVA, the Swedish Agency for Regional and Economical Growth (former name NUTEK) and the Energy Agency.
