Mission

With the overall long-term objective of contributing to sustainable growth of the Swedish economy, the mission of the Office of Science and Innovation is

• to increase knowledge about the Japanese research and innovation system among key actors affecting innovation in Sweden
  
  
• to facilitate cooperation in Research and Development and other exchange of knowledge between Sweden and Japan.

To fulfill its mission the Office of Science and Innovation maintains extensive contact networks in Sweden and Japan, particularly with key persons and organizations involved in research and innovation in government, academia, and industry.
