E.S.T. on U.S. Tour

The Swedish jazz trio E.S.T., acclaimed by Downbeat as "one of the hottest jazz acts in Europe today," is on a major international tour in 2006 in support of its latest album, Viaticum.

E.S.T. (Esbjörn Svensson Trio) is an award-winning Swedish jazz group that has received massive critical acclaim in the past few years.  Their innovative and genre-bending soundscapes incorporate elements of jazz, pop, funk and rock, attracting fans of all ages from all around the world.  A self-described "pop band that plays jazz," E.S.T. has helped to propel the genre into the 21st century and continues to impress hard-nosed critics and jazz neophytes alike with fluid rhythms and lyrical interplay.

The tour follows the release of their latest full-length album, Viaticum, and the band will touch down at major concert halls and festivals around the world in 2006, including the following U.S. locations:
