How to Apply

1. Based on agreement between the Embassy of Sweden in Hanoi and the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI), invitation for participation in ITP will be forwarded to relevant ministries, organizations, institutions, universities, corporations and NGO’s under both public and private sectors in Vietnam.

2. 02 applications with official nomination including signature and stamp of direct employers should be completely filled out in English and sent to the Embassy within the deadline stated on the cover of the application form.

3. An English language test will be arranged by the Embassy for all applicants, unless the applicant can provide other documentation to support her/his ability. Applicants will be informed by telephone or e-mail about the time and the venue for the English language test.

4. Selection process will be done in Sweden by the Programme Organizer. Then the list of selected candidates is submitted to ITP/Sida for final appoval. All applicants are informed of the outcome of the selection.

The ITP/Sida policy is that a person may only participate in one training programme during their professional career.

5. Costs for participation fee and accommodation fee are covered by Sida. Costs for personal expenses are responsibility of the individual participants.

Costs for international travel to and from Sweden are normally not financed by Sida. However, based on the agreement between the Embassy of Sweden and MPI there are exceptions where Sida do finance airfare for participants, who are civil servants working at non production and administrative sectors sponsored by State budget.
