Electronic Applications

You can submit your application via Internet (so called 'e-Application'). All the related information and instruction as well as application form are available at the Swedish Migration Board's website.

If you have any question relating to e-Applications, you can send your inquiry to migrationsverket@migrationsverket.se or call the Swedish Migration Board Information Service at +46 11 15 60 00. Please refrain from calling the Embassy regarding e-Applications as the Embassy is not authorised to make decision on these matters.

However, if your e-Application has been approved by the Migration Board in Sweden and you wish to collect your approval documents (such as permits, visas) from the Embassy, you would have to come to the Embassy in person with your e-Application's control number and bring your passport along with you during our office hours:

08.00 - 12.00 Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays or by appointment (except Embassy's holidays)

The Embassy will issue permit for your passport within 5 days and you will be informed as to when you can pick up your passport at the Embassy.
