International Training Programmes

As part of Sida's work with capacity and institutional development Sida offers international training programmes (ITP) for participants from low-and middle-income countries in priority areas. ITP's methodology takes account of the desire to develop and reform that the participants' organization have expressed in their application to the program.

International Training Programmes

These programmes also aim at enhancing managerial and technical skills in partner countries.

Special emphasis is placed on areas in which Sweden has a considerable level of expertise to offer. Most programmes concern the fields of transport, communications, energy, environmental protection and industry. A number of training programmes cover the social sector, for instance health and human rights. During the last couple of years some 200 Jordanians have attended such courses.
