In connection with the Nobel Exhibition at the Exploratorium, The Nobel Prize: 100 Years of Creativity, on view through October 2, The Commonwealth Club of California will present a panel consisting of the two persons who are in a position to know most about the inner workings of the Nobel Awards. Michael Sohlman is director of the Nobel Foundation in Stockholm, which oversees the Physics, Chemistry, Medicine or Physiology, Economics and Literature Prizes, and Geir Lundestad is director of the Norwegian Nobel Institute, which oversees the Peace Prize. Lundestad and Sohlman will give The Club an insider's account of this coveted prize.
