Before your visit to Sweden, it's important to know what you may and may not bring with you when entering the country.

Bringing Private and Commercial Goods to Sweden

The Swedish Customs Service is responsible for monitoring all goods, both commercial and private, which are brought in and out of Sweden. This includes weapons, alcohol, tobacco products, plants, food stuffs, medicines, and other commodities.

Transitional regulations concerning the traveller´s allowance from certain of the new EU member States
As of June 1 2004 there are transitional regulations in force concerning the traveller´s allowance of tobacco products brought in from the new EU member states i.e. the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.

Bringing Your Pet to Sweden
