International Training Programmes

Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) together with different Swedish governmental, private and non-governmental institutions organizes International Training Programmes (ITP) on an annual basis. These programmes aim at enhancing managerial and technical skills in partner countries and cover subjects of strategic importance to economic and social development. Special emphasis is placed on areas in which Sweden has a considerable level of expertise to offer. The programmes cover various fields, in particular, communications, energy, environmental protection, industry, health and human rights. The trainings last for three to eight weeks and are held in English. On average, the ITP is designed for a group of 20-30 people from different parts of the world.
