Swedish Trade Council in Belgrade

The Swedish Trade Council established its office in Belgrade in April 2001. The office operates as an integral part of the Embassy of Sweden in Belgrade and its main goal is to promote trade between Serbia and Montenegro and Sweden.

The Swedish Trade Council's office in Belgrade covers the geographical area of Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia and Kosovo.

Principal activities consist of:

  • giving guidance to local companies interested in Swedish products and services to find their partner in the Swedish business world

  • extending support to the local Swedish companies in their daily activities

  • informing about business opportunities as well as economic and political situation in the area

  • extending support to newly established Swedish companies taht wis to build, develop sales and invest in the area

  • planning, arraging and implementing activities in the area of responsibility

  • representing Sweden and the Swedish business community to local institution

The Swedish Trade Council in Belgrade cooperates very closely with local Swedish companies by organizing meetings with the Swedish Management Group at traditional breakfasts and lunches.

The goal is to be a natural partner for dialogue for the Swedish business community already active or interested in starting activities in the area.
