Recent Short Films From Sweden

An amazing amount of short films are produced in Sweden at the moment – a sure sign of vitality and creativity in the film community.

For years, Swedish short films have been presented at major film festivals around the world, regularly winning top international prizes.  Johan Brisinger's Passing Hearts won both the Special Jury Award and the Parents Choice Award at the New York International Children's Film Festival just last week.

New Faces of Swedish Cinema at Lincoln Center offers a selection of some of the finest recent shorts, a wide-ranging survey spanning many styles and genres, that will introduce the next generation of Swedish cinema:
