Beyond Blond: Swedish Roots & Heritage Forum
California Lutheran University
2-4 pm.
Join us at the Scandinavian Festival at California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks for an open forum discussion with focus on exploring ways and means to furthering Swedish traditions and cultural heritage in America: Where are the Swedish-American organizations heading? What should be their role? Do they still meet the need or are they a thing of the past? Is it possible to rejuvenate the various organizations to encourage new members and the leadership of new generations?
