Beyond Blond at West Week

Visit the Beyond Blond showroom during Westweek, featuring "Designed in Sweden," showcasing the latest in furniture, textiles, glass, ceramics and metalware produced by leading Swedish designers.

Swedish designs characterized by a special tactility that appeals to the eye, as well as to the touch, is demonstrated through "Seductive Surfaces: New Textiles from Sweden".  This exhibition shows how designers work within a spare vocabulary of classic shapes, which they embellish with warm colors, subdued motifs and organic materials to infuse everyday fabrics with a natural unassuming beauty.  Presented in complement are futuristic designs by Volvo, encompassing intelligent car systems, interior car designs and textiles, as well as other lifestyle elements that demonstrate Swedish innovation.

Tuesdays through Fridays through April 15, 10 AM- 6PM;
weekends, 12 noon-4PM.
