Residence permit family re-unification – Pakistani citizens

Applications for visit visas must be submitted to FedEx/Gerry’s application centres throughout Pakistan*. You must submit your application personally at FedEx/Gerry’s along with the following documents:

• 2 sets of correctly and fully completed Application Forms
(Form No. 115021 for adults and Form No. 113021 for children under 18);
• Fee deposit slip;
• Original passport and identity card (will be returned);
• 2 copies of first two pages of the passport and 2 of national identity card;
• 2 passport size photographs. The photos must be: full face (facing the camera directly with your eyes looking straight at the camera), colour with a light background, no more than six months old and a good likeness of you, bareheaded, unless you have special religious reasons;
• 2 sets of photocopies of the Marriage Certificate both the original and the English translation (in case of family ties with husband/wife); the marriage must be registered with the authorities
• Your reference person's latest proof of identity (personbevis), and; in case your reference is not a Swedish citizen, his/her first and complete decision of residence permit.

* PKR 1,000 is charged by FedEx/Gerry’s.

Note: The marriage certificate and other documents issued by Pakistani authorities must be legalised/attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of Pakistan.

You will receive the date and time of your interview after the application is submitted. After your interview has taken place, your application will be forwarded to the Swedish Migration Board for a decision.

Before you present your application you must deposit a non-refundable residence permit application fee equivalent to SEK 500:- for adults and SEK 250 for children under 18 in Pak Rupees into the Embassy's account No: 13530027999203 at Habib Bank Limited, Super Market, School Road Branch, F-6 Markaz, Islamabad or at HBL’s any on-line branch in Pakistan.

The application receiving hours at FedEx/Gerry’s are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon, and for telephone enquiries (Embassy only) 2.00 to 3.00 p.m.

Basic information about application process, requirements and limited status of application can also be obtained through twenty4seven call centre (valid only for calls within Pakistan) by means of pre-recorded voice messages on an automatic answering machine, in English, Urdu or Dari, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week or through the call centre operator during office hours.
