Work in Sweden

Applications for work permit along with the documents mentioned here below must be submitted to the Embassy in Islamabad. You must book an appointment well in advance. You can also submit your application electronically on the website of the Swedish Immigration Authority. Please visit the Swedish Migration Board's website www.migrationsverket.se for further details.

Documents to submit:

• 2 sets of correctly and fully completed Application Forms (Form No. 149011);
• Original passport and identity card (will be returned);
• Two passport size photographs. The photos must be: full face (facing the camera directly with your eyes looking straight at the camera), colour, with a light background, no more than six months old and a good likeness of you, bareheaded, unless you have special religious reasons;
• 2 copies of first two pages of the passport and 2 of national identity card;
• A written offer of employment in Sweden, with a photo copy, Form No. 232011

Application fee SEK 2,000 equivalent to Pakistani Rupees to be paid by Demand Draft (DD/Banker’s Cheque of Habib Bank Limited) favouring “Embassy of Sweden, Islamabad”
