About the Embassy

Welcome to the Embassy of Sweden in Amman, Jordan

The Embassy of Sweden opened in Jordan in 1981. Over the years, Swedish-Jordanian relations have developed and strengthened, building on the mutual trust that reigns between the two states. Their Majesties King Carl XVI Gustaf and queen Silvia paid a state visit to Jordan in 1989 and in 2003 their Majesties King Abdullah II and Queen Rania paid a state visit to Sweden.

Tuesdays are closed for the public.
