About the Embassy

The Embassy of Sweden in Harare administers Swedish development cooperation in Zimbabwe through cooperation with the civil society organisations and United Nations bodies. Development cooperation is guided by the approach and position adopted by the Government of Sweden.

The consular section is responsible for assisting both Swedish citizens who are visiting Zimbabwe, and Zimbabwean citizens who wish to visit Sweden.

In addition to representing Sweden in Zimbabwe, the Embassy also reports on political and economic developments in Malawi and Mauritius.
