Entry Visa to Sweden/Schengen

• Application for Schengen visa – All applicants (Form 119031)
• Family appendix for applicant – All applicants (Form 201031)
• Questionnaire for visa applicant – Business & Conference, Training (Form 210021)
• Referee’s appendix E – Family & relatives must be filled by the referent (Form 22011)
   
• Valid Passport – Must be valid for at least 3 months after the return to Tanzania. Photocopy of the Data Page and all visa’s issued
• 1 Passport size photograph – No more than 3 months old and on a white background

SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

• Person Bevis – From the referent in Sweden if going to visit family or relatives
• Letter of invitation from the organization to be visited in Sweden, stating the reason  duration of the visit and who is covering the cost of the stay.
• Letter from Employer or educational establishment in Tanzania, stating the reason for the visit to Sweden, the duration and who is covering the cost of the stay.
• If for business reasons a copy of the registration certificate for the company in Tanzania. Photocopy and original
• Birth and marriage certificate – Photocopy and Original.
• Means of support while in Sweden – Current bank statement and or wage slip. ( A minimum of US$ 50 per day)
• Copy of your flight itinerary.
• Children under the age of 18 years must submit a written letter of consent signed by both parents.
• Travel/Health insurance should be purchased to cover the stay in Sweden – This should not be purchased before the visa has been granted.

All documents must be presented in original with photocopies attached to the application.

How do I submit my application?

Applications with all required documents shall be delivered in person during VISA visiting hours Monday – Thursday 08:00-10:00 hrs to the following address: Mirambo Street/Garden Avenue, Dar es Salaam.

How much does it cost?

In most cases, the non-refundable application fee for a Schengen visa is 110,000/- payable in T.Shs.

How long does it take?

If the decision is taken by the Embassy the processing time will be 5 working days, if the application is referred to the Swedish Migration Board the processing time will be between 4 – 8 weeks.
