Diakonia Bangladesh
Diakonia Bangladesh is a Swedish development aid organisation working in Bangladesh since 1972. As implied in its name - Diakonia, a Greek word meaning to serve or care, has been working relentlessly with a motto of People changing the world. More precisely it has been working in order to make a positive change and to bring about a more just society.

This year Diakonia is cooperating with six partners in Bangladesh who are working with rural poor people to ensure and strengthen gender equity in the society, working with local government, children and community people and actors in civil society.
