– Are you interested in new partners for exchange and co-operation?– Do you want to share your experiences and ideas?– Do you want to host a visit at your university/university college?
With this seminar, workshops and visits we want to organise a forum for new contacts between higher education institutions in Sweden and Hungary. We think that in the future we can have an increased exchange within e g the Erasmus Programme and find new areas of co-operation.
Some 25 representatives from different Swedish universities and university colleges will take the opportunity to meet about 80 colleagues from Hungary. Lecturers, professors and international/Erasmus coordinators will take part in the seminar on Monday 11th and visit some universities or colleges in Budapest and/or university cities easily accesible by train.
List of participants from Sweden will be available from mid June. They will mainly represent faculties or institutions of social sciences, technology/natural sciences, environmental programmes, health and teacher education. The theme “Higher Education for Sustainable Development” will be introduced during the seminar.
The perspective of sustainable development is broad - it includes economic, environmental and social sustainability - and can be integrated in educational programmes and research in various disciplines. Exchange of student and teachers is an excellent way of spreading ideas that also can result in common projects in course development, teaching methods and research.
The seminar is organised by the Swedish Institute in cooperation with International Programme Office in Sweden and the Tempus Public Foundation in Budapest.
Invitations to Hungarian representatives and organisation of university visits will be made by Tempus Public Foundation.Do you want to know more? Please contact Krisztina Antal, phone: +36 1 237 1300,e-mail: krisztina.antal@tpf.hu at Tempus Public Foundation
