Projects on the way

In the field of culture Latvia and Sweden maintain close ties for several reasons – historical, geographical, and political. Sweden gave a strong priority to its cultural relations with the Baltic countries after their renewed independence.

The cooperation in the cultural sphere between Sweden and Latvia covers a wide spectrum, including visual arts performances, joint exhibitions, exchange of artists and students and many other events.
