Delegation of the European Commission to Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam and East Timor

The EC is represented in Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam and East Timor by a Delegation in Jakarta – established in 1988. The Delegation has full diplomatic privileges and immunities with the Head of Delegation accorded full ambassadorial status in the four accredited countries.

The EC Delegation in Jakarta undertakes, facilitates and promotes many activities. Some of these EC activities focus on one particular country and are bilateral in nature.

Many projects in the field of development co-operation and humanitarian assistance have such a bilateral angle. Other activities may have a worldwide or Asia-wide scope.
