Location and Visiting Hours

The Consulate General of Sweden in New York is located at 445 Park Avenue between 56th Street and 57th Street in Manhattan.

Visiting hours for submitting applications for visas, residence permits, or coordination numbers, to have documents certified/notarized, or to pick up Swedish passports or driver's licenses, etc., are Mondays and Fridays from 10 am to 12 noon, and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 4 pm. We are closed for visitors on Wednesdays.

Please note that as of January 1, 2012, Schengen visa applications may no longer be submitted at the Consulate General in New York.

Regular phone hours are 9 am to 12 noon, and 2 to 5 pm on weekdays.

The office is closed for visitors and phone calls on weekends and official holidays.

Please note that the Consulate will be closed for visitors on Monday, February 6, through Tuesday, February 7. Instead, the Consulate will be open for business on Wednesday, February 8 between 2 and 4 pm.
