The Swedish Mission is representing Sweden in the United Nations, the local EU coordinations as well as towards other UN Missions. Much of the daily work is to observe and negotiate on behalf of Sweden in the many meetings in, for example, the General Assembly with its committees.Global cooperation within the framework of the United Nations is a cornerstone of Swedish foreign policy.
