Vacany as National Programme Officer

The Embassy of Sweden, Office in Pristina hereby announces a vacancy as National Programme Officer in the area of Human Rights, starting as soon as possible.

Main tasks
The NPO will plan, assess, implement and follow-up development cooperation programmes which include both desk work and field visits. He/she will also contribute to thegeneral tasks of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency' (Sida) tasks like methods development, dialogue and information as well as analyzing political and social development issues.

Qualifications

  • Academic degree in relevant areas
  • Five years experience of development related work, e.g. with international organisations, NGO’s or bilateral development cooperation agencies
  • Good knowledge of international standards relating to development cooperation and Human Rights, including gender and minority issues
  • Knowledge of EU approximation, aid effectiveness and results based management
  • Good analytical, dialogue, communication and advocacy skills
  • Fluency in English, Albanian and Serbian

The NPO needs to have a driver’s license and must produce a satisfactory health certificate.
