The EU honoured the European Day on the death penalty

In its role as Presidency of the European Union, the Embassy of Sweden on behalf of the EU member countries handed over a statement to the Vietnamese Government on October 9, 2009.

The Note expresses the EU longstanding opposition to the death penalty under all circumstances.

5th of June the Swedish Ambassador Rolf Bergman inaugurated the art exhibition ”What is identity?” for a crowd of 500 at Vietnam University of Fine Arts in Hanoi.
