Attacks hit Baghdad

On the morning August 19 a series of attacks hit different parts of Baghdad, killing around 95 people and wounding 500.

A car bomb exploded just outside the Iraqi Ministry for Foreign Affairs, approximately 500 meters from the Swedish Embassy. The area around the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was shaken by the explosion. No one in the Embassy was wounded.
