Sweden is prepared to send additional long- and short-term observers if the EU so requests.

    The UNRWA headquarters in Gaza has been shelled during the morning and parts of the premises are now in flames. UNRWA has stated that three staff members have been injured and that it will not be possible to undertake today's distribution of food, medicine and fuel.
